PANEER BUTTER MASALA RECIPE#89









Step 1:- Cut 200 grams of paneer into small cubes.


Step 2:- Heat a pan and add 1 table spoon of butter .


Step 3:-  Fry the panner cubes until it gets light brown color on its edges as in the picture , and keep aside.



Step 4:-  Finely grind 5-9 cashews/Almonds. I used Almonds.



Step 5:-  Add 2 table spoon of water( to Step 4) and make a smooth paste and keep aside.


Step 6:-  Make a smooth paste with 3/4 of a large tomato , and 2 green chillies. and keep aside.



Step 7:-  Make a smooth paste of 4-5 pearl onion , 3-4 garlic , and 2 '' ginger root and keep aside.



Step 8:-  Heat a pan and add one table spoon of   butter.


Step 9 :-  Add  a bay leaf.


Step 10:-  Add  1 teaspoon of cumin seeds,  add  step 7 paste ( onion paste ) and saute for few minutes.


Step 11:-  Add step 6 paste ( tomato paste ) saute until the oil separates  from it. 


Step 12:-  Add 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri  chilli powder.


Step 13:-  Add the  step 4 paste 


Step 14:-  Mix well , continuously stir for 5- 6 minutes. 


Step 15:-  Add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder.


Step 16 :-  Add the  step 1 Paneer cubes 


Step 17 :-  Mix well, add more water'' if needed''  and cook for another 6-10 minutes on low medium flame.


                               Step 18 :- PANEER BUTTER  MASALA .......:) Serve hot with Chapattis, fulkas.....
