Home Made Beef Shawarma RECIPE#238



Hey guys follow me here 





 Step 1 :-   Cut beef (1 1/2 lb /3/4 kg ) into thin fajita like strips . And marinate it with curd  ( 1/2  -1 cup ),  


cardamom ( 1/2 teaspoon) ,  white pepper powder ( 1 teaspoon )  , tabasco sauce (1 table soon ) , olive oil  (3 table spoons ), lemon juice ( juice from one lemon) , red chilli flakes (3/4 teaspoon ) , all spice powder ( 2  teaspoons ) , cinnamon powder (1/2 teaspoon ) , 


vineger ( 1 table spoon ) ,  onion paste  ( 2 table spoons) , garlic ( 2 teaspoons )  and  salt , 


and refrigerate it  for 6 hours to over night .


Step 2  :-Cook beef for 45 minutes on medium flame .Be sure not to overcook .And add water  (2-4 table spoons) if its  too dry!. 


Cook until the beef is done .

Pita Bread With Oats RECIPE#237








   Step 1 :-  Combine   1/2 cup of Luke warm water  add 3/4  teaspoon  of yeast ,  1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 table spoon of salt   keep aside to' rise' .



  
 Step 2 :-   Grind Oats  (  1 1/2  cup) and keep aside .







   Step 3 :-  Combine  the oats powder ( step 1)  and whole purpose flour 1 cup ), 

 

Add    olive oil (4-7 table spoons )and salt (to taste ), 



Add the step 1 yeast , and 1/4 cup of water 


Knead well  ( Add more water or flour  if needed ) ,until  you get a soft, springy dough.


Cover the ''dough'' with a warm damp cloth.  And keep  in  warm place ( preferably 78 degree Fahrenheit)   for 1  hour ( until the ''dough'' doubles its size   as in the picture below) .

 Knead  again and ''keep it '' for another 1/2 more  hour. 


Divide the dough into 6 equal small balls ,


   Step 4 :-   Heat a thava ,    Spread the  step 3 dough like chapthi  , place the spread dough on the hot tava ,  ,



cover it with a lid until the oats pits bread start puffing up as in the picture below. Now flip the pya bread to other side , cook for another 2-4 minutes .



Step 5 :-  Pita Bread With Oats  is ready .......: -)  :-)  Enjoy  with   curries , shawarma , hummus .......... :).... - JA- Mathew-   




Easy Lebanese Rice RECIPE#236









 Step 1 :-  Heat a  pan   and add   ghee ( 2 table spoons )  ,





and  soaked  basmathi rice  ( 2 cups , fry for 4-5 minutes ),



and  add fried vermicelli  ( 1/2 cup  ) ,


  add  all spices powder  ( 1 1/2 teaspoons ) ,  Combine well .





and  add  water  ( 3   cups  ) , and cook for 6-8 minutes on medium flame ( until the rice fluffy )






and   now  ''sprinkle"  3-4 teaspoons of ghee .




Step 2 :- Easy Lebanese  Rice  is ready ..... Enjoy   ........JA-Mathew- :)
