Easy Chicken Pulav from Jes's Kitchen ! RECIPE: 351



Hey guys follow me here 


 STEP 1 :- Cook Chicken ( chopped into small squares ,  1lb ~ 1/2 kg ) , by adding pepper powder   ( 1 teaspoon) and salt .



 Now heat a wok , and saute the cooked chicken by adding oil ( 1 teaspoon)  , dry them and set aside .




 STEP 2 :- Heat a wok ( 7 quart sized )  , add oil / butter / clarified butter / ghee ( 1 table spoon ) , and add  fennel seeds  ( 1 1/2 teaspoons ) , cardamom(  7-8 nos )  , cloves( 4-6 non ) ,  cumin seeds ( 1/4 teaspoon)  and cinnamon stick ( 1 medium ) ,  saute ,  until you get a nice aroma of whole  spices .  



Now add  onion ( chopped , 1  cup ) , 



 green chilli  ( finely chopped , 2 nos  ) , saute for 5-7 minutes until the onions become soft and now add 



carrot  (washed  , chopped,  1 cup   ) . Saute  and cook for 3 minutes  ( on medium flame ) . 



Now add  ginger galric paste / powder  ( paste 2 teaspoons , powder 1 1/2 teaspoons ) , combine and  




 add green peas ( frozen , 3/4 cups ) , 



STEP 1 chicken , combine and add 



rice (  2 cups , basmati , washed and soaked for 10 minutes ) , Combine and 




add cranberries (  dried , chopped  . 1/2 cup ) , 



and add chicken stock from step 1 chicken  (  we need  total  of 4 1/2  cups of liquid , if chicken stock is less , adjust with water ) .



 Add salt




lemon juice ( from  1/2 of a lemon ) , COMBINE and 



 add cilantro ( 1/2 cup chopped ) , 





and mint leaves  .   And cook for cook for 20 minutes on low medium ( until the rice is done ) .
