Pear Hand Pie RECIPE #16

Pear hand pie

Step 1:-Peel two medium sized pears , dice  it and keep aside.
Step 2:- Preheat the oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
Step 3:- Make pie dough and keep aside.

Step 4:- Melt 2 table spoon of butter in a pan, add the  'diced 'pear,add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 3-4  table spoon of granulated sugar. Saute until the pear  becomes soft . Remove from heat and allow to cool & keep aside.

Step 5:- Roll a small ball of pie dough, to 1/2 inch thickness. Place  3 teaspoons of   pie fillings in the center.

Step 6:-  Fold over and seal it three times as shown below ,brush the top of the' pie' with melted butter/ ghee/ egg white and sprinkle with granulated sugar . Keep '' the sealed pie''  in refrigerator for 10 minutes. Put enough holes on the top of  the' pie' with knife / or fork  .

Step 7:- Bake  for 20 minutes in the middle rack, until it becomes golden brown in color.
