Broiled Bitter gourd /Pavakka RECIPE#82









 Step 1:- Chop 2-4 Bitter Gourd into THIN ROUND pieces as shown in the picture below .
Step 2:- Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.



Step 3:-  Mix them with   2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 2-1/2 teaspoon of kashmiri chilli powder and salt . And refrigerate for 2-5 hours.


Step 4:- Arrange the ''marinated bitter gourd  pieces '' on a baking tray ( lined with foil paper).


 Step 5:-  Bake for 20-25 minutes.




Step 6:- Broil  the bitter gourd  pieces for  about 2-4   minutes until it turns to crispy.


Step 7:- Broiled Bitter gourd /Pavakka  is ready............:)   Enjoy  with steamed rice as a side dish !!!! :)......... -JA-Mathew -  :)
