Wheat Bread Gulab Jamun RECIPE#212

STEPS 

I :-  'MAKE'   SUGAR SYRUP 

II :-  PREPARE "BREAD JAMUNS'' 








I :-   How to 'MAKE'   SUGAR SYRUP 


Step 1:-   Boil 1 1/2 cup of water , 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder



3/4 cup - 1 cup of sugar ,


1 teaspoon of lemon juice ,


 1-2 teaspoon of rose water  for 


    10-15 minutes on  medium flame    ( until the syrup becomes sticky  in consistency ) . Switch off  the flame  and keep aside .







II :-   How to make  "BREAD JAMUNS'' 


Step 2:-   Trim the sides of 8-10 wheat bread pieces ,



'Grind'  them into  crumbs



Add 1/2 - 3/4 cup of hot milk ( whole milk )  and knead it into a 'smooth soft dough'  and keep aside for 10-15 minutes .



Divide the dough into equal  ' small lemon sized balls .


Step 3 :- Heat  a pan on stove top and then add ghee ( clarified butter ) / vegetable oil  and then heat the oil. Shallow fry the  the 'bread balls'  ( Until it gets golden brown in color) .





Allow to cool the bread jamuns , then soak in  step 1 sugar syrup (  for 1-2 hours ) . 




 Step 4:-    Wheat Bread Gulab Jamun is ready ....... Enjoy   ........................:) JA -Mathew-
