Chicken Manchurian ( Indo- Chinese Style) RECIPE#137

Step 1:-  Cut  1 1/2  lb / 3/4  kg  of bone less chicken thighs / breast  into  small cubes .Marinate  the chicken  pieces with  1 teaspoon of pepper powder ,


1 teaspoon of vinegar ,


an egg white,  and salt  for 1 hour.


Step 2:-   'Make a paste '  with 1/2  cup of corn flour , 1/4 cup of bread flour , 1/4 cup of maida, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon of kashmiri chiili powder, salt and  1/4 -1/2 cup of water .   




Step 3:-  'Coat' the 'marinated chicken pieces' with   'Step 2 paste'  and 'keep it ' for another 1 hour.



Step 4:-  Heat a pan and then heat 1 cups of vegetable oil , ' shallow fry'   or  'bake'  the marinated coated chicken pieces , and keep aside.


  Step 5:- In another pan ,  add 1 table spoon of vegetable oil , saute   4-5 sliced garlic cloves and 3''  of sliced ginger root , until the ginger garlic gets brown in color.



Step 6:- Add   1 1/2 onion ( cube cut )  and saute until the onion gets transparent.


Step 7:-  Now add a green pepper ( cube cut ) and 3-4 chopped  spring onion.



Step 8:-  Add 4-5 table spoon of red chilli sauce ,  3-4 table spoon of tomato sauce / tomato ketchup , 1 teaspoon of vinegar, salt  and 2 table spoon of soy sauce . Combine well.




Step 9:-  Now add the fried chicken pieces ( step 4) , sprinkle 1 teaspoon of pepper powder. And 'cook' for another 2- 5 minutes .


Step 10 :- Garnish with fresh chopped spring onion.


Step 11:- Chicken Manchurian ( Indo- Chinese Style)   is ready............Enjoy ...JA- Mathew-
