Easy Kadai Paneer " For beginners" From Jes Kitchen . RECIPE:-358




Hey Guys Kindly  Follow Me Here ,








STEP 1:- Cut paneer ( 10 oz~ 284 gms , ~3/4 lb,  into cubes 




as in the pic below )  and set aside .




STEP 2:- Heat a pan and add onion ( I used 1 large red and 1/2 of a white onion)  , saute and 









and add ginger ( julienned / chopped , 2 inch of a root ) , garlic ( chopped , 6-7 cloves / 2 table spoons) , green chilli  ( chopped 2-3 nos ) , saute until onion becomes soft and transparent .




 Now add  tomato   ( chopped or puree ,  one large sized  ) , saute and add




turmeric ( 3/4 teaspoon)  , paprika  ( 1 teaspoon) , coriander powder ( 1 1/2 teaspoons)  , pepper powder  ( 3/4 teaspoon) , 


fennel  powder ( 3/4 teaspoon)  , cardamom  powder ( 1 teaspoon)  , garam masala ( 2 pinch ) , saute until you get " aroma " from the powders ( 20 sec - 1 min) .




STEP 3 :-  Now add peppers (  I used frozen ,  cubed , red 1/2 cup , yellow 1/2 cup  , orange 1/2 cup  , green  1/2 cup ) , 


combine ,  and add  salt , water ( 1/2 - 1  cup )  and  and close it with a lid and cook for 10-12  minutes ( on medium flame)  .


STEP 4:- Now add  step 1 paneer cubes



kasoori methi ( 1 tablespoon) , COMBINE  , make sure all the paneer cubes are  well coated with the masla , and 


add  tomato ketchup ( spicy  1 table spoon  OR  regular  2 table spoons ) ,  and  now check fro salt and add sugar ( brown sugar 1 tabel spoons )  .Combine and cook for 3-5 minutes on low flame . 



STEP 5:- Easy Kadai Paneer " For beginners" From Jes Kitchen is ready ..... Enjoy with chapathi / poori / bread /torilla/ steamed rice ....... JA-Mathew .

Soft Chapthi Recipe From Jes Kitchen For Beginners ! Recipe No 357 .



Hey Guys  Kindly Follow Me Here ,





STEP1 :- Combine flour ( atta / whole wheat powder / gothambupodi , 1 cup) , 


salt ( 2 pinch) , sugar ( OPTIONAL, 1/2 teaspoon) ,


 oil ( ghee/ butter/ coconut oil/ vegetable oil , 1 table spoon) .And add 



water ( 1/2 cup ,  FLOUR:WATER =1 CUP:1/2 CUP  ) , Combine well ( with a spoon or spatula ) and allow to rest it for minumum 20 minutes .



Now knead it in to a ball , add more flour ( 1-2 teaspoons , if te dough is too sticky ). Allow to rest it again for another 10-15 minutes ( DONT FORGET TO COVER IT WITH A LID / A DAMP KITCHEN TOWEL ) .



STEP 2:- Roll the ball of dough into a long strip ( as in the pic below ) .


 Cut the strip into equal sized pieces .



Roll each pieces into  balls and 



spread each ball into circle (as in the pic below)  ,




and set aside .



STEP 3:- Heat a pan / tawa ( cast iron is the best ) , and sprinkle 



oil ( OPTIONAL ) 



place the circle on the hot tawa ( MAKE SURE THE TEMP SETTINGS IS ALWAYS ON MEDIUM HIGH THROUGHOUT CHAPATHI MAKING PROCESS ), 


wait for  1 1/2  minutes , ( until its surface looks dry and 



bubbles start coming ), now sprinkle/ brush   oil  ( OPTIONAL ) , and turn 



the circle to the other side ( and it look like this as in the pic below) .



Now wait for 5-10 seconds , once its sides starts curling up , tap it with a  spatula ( as in the pic below ) , and sprinkle oil on its sides .



Turn it one more time to ther side ,  to make sure both sides got enough golden spots .

Chickpea/Garbanzo/ Kadala / Chana Masala ( North Indian Style ) ! Recipe 356


Hey guys follow me here 






STEP1:- Heat a pan , and add onion ( I used  one large red  &  1/2 of a yellow onion ) , garlic ( 8-10 ) , ginger ( 3" of a root ) , green chili( 2-3 nos ) curry leaves  ( from two twigs )  and salt


 when the onion  becomes transparent , add tomato ( 1 big~ 1 cup choped ) , saute until the tomato becomes mushy , and 






 add fennel seeds ( 3/4 teaspoon ) , cardamom ( 4-7 nos) , cumin seeds ( 1/2 teaspoons) cinnamon sticks  ( 2 small ) cloves  (4-7 nos ) and an  anistar ( a small petel ) .



STEP 2:- cool and  grind  them into  a smooth paste and set aside .



STEP 3 :-  Heat a pan and add oil ( canola 2 teaspoons) , splutter cumin seeds ( 1 teaspoon ) 


 add the paste  ( STEP2 ) and paprika ( 1 teaspoon) 



 coriander powder ( 2 teaspoons) , pepper powder ( 3/4 teaspoon) ,turmeric powder ( 1 teaspoon ), fennel seed powder ( 1/2 teaspoon) , kasoori methi ( 3 pinch), and brown sugar ( 1 1/2 teaspoon) 


                                      



 add the Chickpea/Garbanzo/  Kadala / Chana  (  I useds two cans , 30 oz ~  . 85 kg OR cooked 3 cups  )  ., combine and saute for 3-4 minutes 




Now add its water ( total of 2 cups ) 



 and now salt  


butter ( 1-2 table spoons ) , combine and cook for 2-5 minutes . Now switch off the flame and 



add cliantro ( chopped , 1 cup ) ,


 lemon juice ( from 1/2 of a lemon). Combine :) ....... And its  READY  . 





 STEP 4:-Chickpea/Garbanzo/  Kadala / Chana Masala (  North Indian Style )  , is ready .....Enjoy  with chapathi / poori /steamed rice  ....JA-Mathew
