Step 1 :- Cut 1/2 lb of chicken breast or thighs into '' small ''cubes . Microwave the chicken pieces with salt, water and pepper , and set aside.
S Step 2 :- Heat a tea spoon of vegetable oil ( canola) in a pan , add 1 1/2 sliced onion , finely chopped 2 " ginger , 4-5 garlic cloves ,
2 green chillies ,
and finely chopped 6-9 curry leaves .
Saute until onion gets gets transparent and golden brown in color..
Step 3:- Bring down the heat and add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of kashmiri chilli powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala . Combine well with 1/4 cup of water
Step 4:- Now add the Step 1 chicken pieces .,
combine well, and cook for another 20 minutes on low - medium flame with 1/2 cup of water . And keep aside .
Step 5 :- Thaw 4-5 sheets of the puff pastry. Or make puff pastry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSUN3j5mTyE ) . AND preheat the oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit .
place ''step 4 Chicken mixture / filling '' on one half of the sheet.
Step 6:- Fold and press the sides to seal , and brush the top with egg white.
Step 7 :- Arrange on a cookie rack or on a baking sheet .
Step 8 :- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Until ''the puff ''looks brown and fluffy.
