Step 1:- Cut 200 grams of paneer into small cubes.
Step 2:- Heat a pan and add 1 table spoon of Vegetable oil .
Step 3:- Fry the panner cubes until it gets light brown color on its edges as in the picture , and keep aside.
Step 4:- Heat 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil ( Canola) and add finely chopped 3/4 of a large onion , 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves, 2'' ginger root , and 2-3 green chilies , saute until the onion becomes transparent .
Step 5:- NOW Bring down the heat and add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of kashmiri chili powder 1 teaspoon of cumin powder , 5-7 black pepper, 3-4 cloves and 2-3 cardamom saute for few minutes . , until the raw smell of the 'powder' goes away .
Step 6:- Add a chopped tomato , saute until the tomato becomes mushy .
Step 7:- Grind ''Step 6'' to a smooth paste and keep aside.
Step 8:- Boil the Step 7 paste with a bay leaf , 2-3 table spoon of spicy ketchup , and 2 table spoon of dry methi leaves (crushed) , with 1/2 cup of water for 5-6 minutes on medium flame .
Step 9 :- Add the step 3 fried Paneer cubes,
1/2 cup of cream ,
and 2-5 teaspoon of pure honey . Cook for another 10 minutes on low flame .
Step 10 :- EASY PANEER MASALA ( Restaurant Style) is ready .......:) Serve hot with Tortillas , Chapattis, fulkas..... Enjoy ................ :) -JA-Mathew-
