Coconut- Garlic- Rice Porridge RECIPE #287







Step 1:-  Wash and soak rice  ( 1cup , basmati rice ) for 10- 15 minutes  .

Step 2:-  Boil water  ( 4 cups ) , and add the step 1 rice and cook for 10-15 minutes on medium flame ( until rice is well done )  , and keep aside .



Step 3:- Heat a pan and add oil ( any vegetable oil, 1-2  table spoons  ), 



 splutter fenugreek seeds ( 1 1/2 teaspoons ) oil, 



 and add garlic ( finely chopped 3 teaspoons )  and ginger  ( finely chopped 3 teaspoons )  , fry them until it gets golden brown  in color .



 Now add coconut (  grated  1 1/2 cup )  , saute for 4-5 minutes (  until its dry ) .





Step 4:- Add step 3  ''ingredients " to step 2 rice  , 



COMBINE , and add salt .



Step 5 :-  Jes Special  Coconut- Garlic- Rice Porridge     is ready .......: -) enjoy  :)  J A Mathew .
