Hey guys follow me here
STEP 1 :- Rinse the Pork ( I used butt roast , bone less , 2 .5 lb~ 1 1/4 kg ) and place it
on a Crock pot and pour ROOT BEER OR GINGER ALE ( 3 cups ) ,
and cook for 8 hours on LOW .
STEP 2 :- Shred the ' cooked pork ' with a fork ( as in the pic below ) and
save the " juice"( from the pork ) for later use.
STEP 3 :- Clean the Crock pot and add the " shredded pork" ( Step 2 ) and set aside .
STEP 4 :- Heat a frying pan , and add oil ( canola oil / olive oil , 2 table spoons ) and add onion ( 2 cups, chopped into small squares ) ,
and caramelize it , and now add garlic powder ( 1 teaspoon) , turmeric powder ( 3/4 teaspoon) . paprika ( 1 teaspoon ) , salt and black pepper powder ( 1 1/4 teaspoons ) .And sauté for 2-3 minutes on LOW FLAME .
Now add Worcestershire sauce OR barbecue sauce ( 3 table spoons to 1/2 cups ) , combine and add to
STEP 3 shredded meat , and
add lemon juice ( 2 table spoons ) ,
ketchup ( 3 table spoons ) , apple cider vinegar ( 1/4 cup )
brown sugar ( 1 1/2 table spoons ) , salt and
water OR STEP 2 juice ( 3/4 cup ) and cook for
another one hour on LOW .
