Step 1:- Heat 2 table spoon of vegetable oil in a pan , splutter ¼ teaspoon of mustard seeds, add ½ chopped ' big onion' ( Savala) , 3-4 sliced green chilies , 2 chopped garlic and 8-10 curry leaves until the onion gets transparent.
Step 2:- In the same pan( step 1) add ½ of turmeric powder and one big beetroot ( lengthwise cut) and ½ -¾ cup of water cover the pan and cook it for 15-20 minutes in medium flame. Once the whole water is evaporated add 1-2 table spoon of vegetable oil and stir fry , until it is done.
