Chicken- Snake gourd Thoran RECIPE #20

Step 1: Marinate   2 lbs of ''Chopped''  bone less Chicken with 2 table spoon of turmeric powder and salt  for 1-2 hours.  And keep  aside
Step 2:-Heat  2-3 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a big pan, splutter 2 teaspoon of mustard seeds , add 3-4 dried red chillies ,chopped 2 big onions3-4  tea spoon of Ginger- garlic paste  and  1/2 teaspoon of cumin  seeds saute until onions gets brown in color , and  add  1-2  cardamom , 2-4 cinnamon sticks ,3-4 cloves . And keep aside

Step 3:- Bake  the marinated chicken ( step 1) for 30 minutes in 350 degree Fahrenheit and keep aside .Microwave 2 cups of chopped Snake gourd with salt and 1/4 cup of  water and keep aside.

Step 4:-Grind 1 -1/2 cups of grated coconut,  3 green chilli and 2 garlic pieces .
Step 5:- Add baked chicken and microwaved snake gourd into  Step 2 pan . Add step 3 ingredients   , 2 springs  of curry leaves,  and 1/2 cup of water . Cover the pan and cook it for 15- 20  minutes in medium flame , until all the water has evaporated .
