Tindora /Kovakkai STIR FRY
Step 1:- Chop 20-25 Tindora like in the picture below.
Step 2:- 1 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder salt and 3-4 chopped green chillies.
Step 3:- Finely chopped 3/4 of an onion and 1 teaspoon of Nirapara sambar powder .
Step 4:- Mix well and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Step 5:- Add 1/2 - 1 cup of water , salt and cover the pan with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes on medium flame until the Tindora is done .
Step 6:- Once the Tindora is done remove the lid and saute, until the water completely evaporates .
Step 7 :- Then add 1-2 table spoon of vegetable oil , few curry leaves and saute until it changes its color to light Brown .
Step 8:- Tindora Stir Fry is ready .........Enjoy with Jeera rice steamed rice. ......:)
