Step 1:- Heat a wide ( non stick preferred ) pan , add 1 table spoon of ghee .
Step 2:- Splutter 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds , and 1 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds,
Step 3:- Add finely chopped onion ( 1/2 of a large one ) , 2-3 garlic cloves, 2-3 chopped green chillies and 2'' of ginger . Saute for minutes until the onion becomes transparent.
Step 4:- Add 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Step 5:- Add finely chopped tomato ( 2 small sized tomato)
Step 5:- Add a sprig of curry leaves and 1/2 cup of water .
Step 6:- Add 2 pinch of garam masala . and cook for 10 minutes on low medium flame ,until the tomato becomes mushy.
Step 7:- Add 1 1/2 cup of Cooked basmati rice .
Step 8:- Combine well
Step 9:- Easy Tomato Rice is ready........... Enjoy ........:) JA- Mathew-
