Step 1:- 'Make a paste ' with 1/2 cup of corn flour , 1/4 cup of bread flour , 1/4 cup of maida, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon of kashmiri chiili powder, 1 teaspoon of pepper powder, salt and 1/4 -1/2 cup of water .
Step 2:- 'Coat' the florets of cauliflower ( 1/2 of a cauliflower ) with 'Step 2 paste' and 'keep it ' for 1 hour.
Step 3:- Heat a pan and then heat 1 cups of vegetable oil , ' shallow fry' or 'bake' the 'marinated' florets , until it gets a golden brown in clolor.
Step 4:- Drain the extra oil on a paper towel.
Step 5:- In another pan , add 1 table spoon of vegetable oil , saute 4-5 sliced garlic cloves and 3'' of sliced ginger root and 2-3 chopped green chillies , until the ginger garlic gets brown in color.
Step 6:- Add 1 1/2 onion ( cube cut ) and saute until the onion gets transparent.
Step 7:- Now add a green pepper ( cube cut ) ,
2 table spoon of soy sauce ,
Add 4-5 table spoon of red chilli sauce ,
5-6 table spoon of tomato sauce / tomato ketchup ,
1 teaspoon of vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon of hot chilli sauce , salt and combine well.
Step 8:- Add 3-4 chopped spring onion.
Step 9:-Combine well and 'cook' for 10 minutes on low medium flame /heat
Step 10 :- Now add the fried florets ( step 4) ,
Step 11 :- Combine well .And 'cook' for another 2- 5 minutes .
Step 12 :- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of pepper powder.
Step 13:- Cauliflower (Gopi) Manchurian ( Indo- Chinese Style) is ready............Enjoy ...JA- Mathew-
