Step 1:- Heat vegetable oil (2 table spoons) in a pan , splutter mustard seeds ( 1/4 teaspoon) , cardamom ( 2-3 nos) and fennel seeds ( 1/2 teaspoon) .
add ginger garlic paste ( 2 teaspoons ) saute for 2-3 minutes , and add onion ( 1/2 of a big one , sliced ) , saute until the onion becomes golden brown in color .
now bring down the heat and add chili powder (1 teaspoon) , turmeric powder ( 1 teaspoon ), ans coriander powder ( 2 teaspoon ), saute for 2-3 seconds .
add tomato ( one , chopped ) , saute until the tomato becomes mushy ,
add water ( 1 1/2 cup ) and allow it to boil ,
now add the prawns ( 16 oz ~ 1 lb~ 1/2 kg )
cook for 20 - 22 minutes on low- medium flame
