Step 1:- Boil egg ( 6-8 nos )and make few slits on its surface, keep aside .
Step 2:- Cut / chop carrot ( 2-4 nos ) and potato ( 1 ,big ) and keep aside
Step 3:- Heat a pan and add oil ( any vegetable oil, 1-1 1/2 table spoon ) and splutter mustard seeds ( 11/2 teaspoon) , and add peppercorns ( 10-15 nos ) , cloves ( 4-6 nos ) , fennel seeds 1 1/2 teaspoon ) , cinnamon stick ( 1 , small ) , cumin seeds ( 1/2 teaspoon ) , cardamom ( 8-10 nos ) , saute until you get a nice aroma of whole spices ,
now add garlic ( julienned , 8-10 cloves ) ginger ( julienned , 2 '' of a root ) , saute for few seconds ( until both becomes dry ) ,
NOW BRING DOWN THE FLAME and add turmeric powder ( 3/4 teaspoon ) and coriander powder ( 2 teaspoon ) ,saute for few seconds and ,
add onion ( red , a big one , sliced ), saute
until onions becomes transparent and light brown onion color , now add green chillies ( 3-4 , as whole ), curry leaves ( 5-6 twigs ), saute and add
and add step 2 vegs , combine and add
water ( hot , 1 1/2 cups ) , and salt , cook for 15-20 minutes on medium flame ( until both vegs are done ) .
Now add step 1 boiled eggs , combine
and add coconut milk ( 1/2 cup coconut powder in 1/4 cup water OR thick coconut milk 1/2 cup ) , combine and
add pepper powder ( 2 teaspoons) , combine and cook for another 5 minuets on low flame .
