Step 1:- Remove jackfruit bulbs from jackfruit, by cutting it into wedge pieces , as in the pic below .
Step 2:- Deseed the bulbs and chop it and cook them ( 20-30 nos , adding 1 cup of water ) ,
( until it's mashed , as in the picture below ) and keep aside .
Step 3:- Soak dates ( 10-15 nos ) and keep aside.
grind cooked jackfruit bulbs and soaked dates ,
into a smooth paste as in the picture below
Step 4:- Heat a pan and add ghee ( 2 table spoons ) , and add step 3 paste , water ( lukewarm , 1/4 cup ) and sugar ( brown ( 2 cups ) , combine and stir it continuously ,
until it changes its color to dark golden brown and becomes thick .
Now add ghee / clarified butter ( 1/2- 1 cup ) , stir again
and add cardamom powder ( 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons ),
Stir it continuously until you get a thick soft consistency ( ADD MORE GHEE IF NEEDED ) , and transfer it into a heat resistant pan , and "top it "with cashews ( fried ) .
