Whole Fish Fry Recipe From Jes's Kitchen ! RECIPE: 340



Hey guys follow me here 






STEP 1:-Wash the fish  ( I used 8 " ~ 20 cm sized , 4 , red Tilapia )  thoroughly for  2-3 times , removes all  the  "scales"  ( if any ) , 


 and make 5-7  cuts on the fish ( as in the pic below )  , and  set aside  .




STEP 2:- Grind ginger ( 5-6 nos , 2 inch sized  pieces )  , garlic  ( 3-4 cloves ) , green chili ( 3-4 nos ) , fennel seeds  ( 3/4 teaspoons) and curry leaves ( 2 twigs )  into a coarse paste and  set aside .


STEP 3:- Combine Step 2 paste , onion powder ( 4 teaspoons )  , turmeric powder  ( 2 teaspoons ) , chili powder ( 1 teaspoon )  , paprika  ( 1 teaspoon ), lemon juice ( from half of a lemon )  and fenugreek powder  ( 1/2 teaspoon) , in a mixing bowl . and set aside .




STEP 4:- Apply evenly  on the STEP 1 fish . And refrigerate for minimum 20 minutes .




STEP 5:- Preheat oven for 300 degree Fahrenheit/ ~149 degree Celsius .




STEP 6:-  Transfer  STEP 4 fish into a oven proof pan and bake for 30 minutes .


STEP 7:- Now heat a pan and add few drops of oil ,  "fry ' the baked fish (  on medium flame , until  golden brown on both sides -about 4 minutes a side   )
