Curd -Coconut Pachadi RECIPE #291


Recipe courtesy - my Ammus ( my mommy )  





Step 1:-  Grind  coconut ( grated 1 1/2 cup) , ginger  ( 3-4 nos ,  2 inch sized pieces )   , 




water  ( 1/4 cup - 1 cup  )  and 



mustard seeds   ( 1 teaspoon  ) , into a smooth paste and keep aside .


Step 2:- Heat a pan and add oil ( any vegetable oil, 1-1 1/2 table spoon  ),  and splutter mustard seeds ( 1 teaspoon ) 



and add onion ( finely chopped , 1/2 cup )  , garlic  ( chopped , 3 teaspoons) ,  green chili ( finely chopped . 2-3 nos ) , 



curry leaves  ( 1- 2 twigs ) , saute until onion becomes golden brown in color . 





Step 3:- Now add step 1 paste , and 



 combine  and 


add curd  ( 1/2 - 1 cup) and salt  , combine and switch off the flame . 



Step 4 :-  Curd -Coconut Pachadi is  ready.......  Enjoy with steamed rice ......:) ...... JA -Mathew-
