Easy Saffron Rice From Jes's Kitchen ! RECIPE: 354



Hey guys follow me here 




STEP 1:- Wash  ( 2-3 times, until clear water comes out of rice  ) and drain basmati rice ( 2 cups )  and keep aside .



STEP 2:- Heat a pan and add oil ( Olive oil , 3 table spoons ) , 



add onion ( finely chopped , 1 1/2 medium sized , white or yellow) , Saute until the onion becomes transparent  and light brown in color .


Now add the STEP 1 rice


100 % pure saffron ( 1/4 teaspoon,  I used this one - pic below ) , 



garlic powder ( 1 1/2 teaspoons , and parsely ( chopped , 1/4 cup ) , saute  ( until rice gets dry ) 


Now add chicken stock ( organic , low sodium , 4 1/4  cups ) , 





salt , 



combine and  turn the heat to high ( 9 )  , when it starts boiling ,  turn down the heat to low  - medium ( 4 )  and cook for 10 minutes . And now fluff the rice with a fork .
